First arrival in China

1. China Border Inspection
China's border inspection is divided into multiple channels, including the Chinese citizen channel and the foreign citizen channel. International students should pass through the foreign citizen channel. Before entering the country, it is necessary to fill out the "Foreigner Entry Application Form" (usually issued by the carrier airline on the plane or can be collected at the airport counter), and have it checked by customs and inspection personnel. Inspectors may inquire about travel purposes, contact persons in China, addresses, and other information. They should prepare responses in advance and carry paper supporting materials with them. After entering the country, you are not allowed to stay at the border checkpoint. You should collect your luggage as soon as possible and cooperate with security personnel to conduct security checks on your luggage.
