Sichuan attaches great importance to the internationalization of education. It has formulated the "the Belt and Road" education action plan, adhered to the "four directions of expansion and global opening", continued to increase cooperation, set up government scholarships for foreign students in Sichuan, and encouraged outstanding foreign students to study and engage in scientific research in Sichuan universities.
1、 Subsidy recipients
The Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship for Foreign Students is applicable to provincial universities in our province that recruit foreign students. The award is given to outstanding students who hold foreign nationality and are currently applying for or studying at relevant universities, including doctoral, master's, undergraduate, vocational students, and long-term study students (non degree students) with a duration of one academic year or more.
2、 Subsidy standards
According to the standard subsidy of 30000 yuan/year for doctoral students, 25000 yuan/year for master's students, 20000 yuan/year for undergraduate students, 15000 yuan/year for associate degree students, and 10000 yuan/year for continuing education students, and meeting the principle that the award proportion for degree students shall not exceed 30% of the total number of foreign students on campus, and the award proportion for non degree students shall not exceed 10% of the total number of foreign students on campus.
